System Center Virtual Machine Manager Courseware to Release in Q3
June 1, 2009
Centriq Training announced today that it will add System Center Virtual Machine Manager courses to its open calendar during mid-third quarter of 2009. Microsoft has released courseware for the VMM product through its traditional Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC) program rather than its new Courseware Library program.
The initial course offered by Centriq will be MS 6331 – Deploying and Managing System Center Virtual Machine Manager. This will be a three day course which Centriq will offer in October. The exact date for the class has yet to be determined. The prerequisite for the VMM class is MS 50028 - Managing System Center Operations Manager 2007. Centriq will offer that class August 3-7, 2009 for anyone that needs to take it before the VMM class.
In addition to MS 6331, Centriq also announced that Microsoft is expected to release two additional Virtual Machine Manager courses in 2009. These are:
- MS 50240A: Technical Deep Dive: Set up, Manage, and Maintain a Virtual Environment using Microsoft Windows Server with Hyper-V and System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008 (2 days) ; and
- 50241A: Technical Overview: Server Virtualization using Microsoft Windows Server 2008 with Hyper-V and System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008 (1day)
Centriq will publish class dates for these courses based on customer demand.
